Position: Surgical Technician

Location: Kailua Kona, HI

Pay: $42.19/hour

Experience: 1-3 years of experience required, preferably in a peri-operative setting or in an Operation Room

Education: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technical School; National Surgical Technician Certification (preferred)

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.


Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a Surgical Technician to join a growing and dynamic team


Job Description:

  • Assist the physician during procedures.
  • Help transport patients to recovery with the RN and Anesthesia Care Provider as needed.
  • Prepare exam rooms by ensuring instruments and equipment are ready before procedures.
  • Assist with patient positioning when necessary.
  • Ensure documentation is completed daily and complies with current standards and policies.
  • Maintain cleaning logs for chemical and equipment use.
