Responsibilities:

The Manager, Engineering & Manufacturing will manage the day-to-day design and manufacturing activities of the company. The Manager will manage and act as the technical lead in the preparation for, and manufacturing of, all product designs, through product installation.


  • Lead and manage all day-to-day manufacturing activities including management of the Design and Manufacturing Engineer
  • Project manage design readiness for the preparation of manufacturing
  • Identify and deploy technical skill sets, resource levels and systems to deliver projects
  • Oversee manufacturing and quality control and ensure manufacturing performance and quality goals are met
  • Conduct vendor qualification and provide vendor relationship management
  • Lead the quotation process and generate production budgets
  • Conduct Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
  • Provide technical engineering input and contribute to engineering technical oversight and risk management
  • Manage and work closely with the Design and Manufacturing Engineer in the preparation of technical drawings and design readiness for manufacturing
  • Work closely with the Service and Operations Team in the support of product testing and validation
  • Provide input into planning for product improvements, reliability, and safety
  • Develop budgets and proper resource assignments
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally
  • Provide guidance, coaching and leadership to the engineering and manufacturing team
  • Participate in the development of engineering policies, procedures, and best practices
