Position Summary

National 4-H Council (Council) is seeking a Data Coordinator whose primary role and responsibility will be to manage and validate data loaded into the CRM system, StratusLIVE. Reporting to the Director of Resource Development Operations, this role will work in conjunction with the CRM Team and broader Resource Development (RD) Team to manage the data for accuracy and consistency to be used cross functionally for analysis. The Data Coordinator will ensure the collected data is cleaned, validated and entered properly by following Council’s data governance policy.



Responsibilities

CRM Database

  • Provide overall support and assistance in the timely update of records in the CRM.
  • Manage and validate data loaded into the CRM system.
  • Work in conjunction with the CRM Team to manage the data to ensure accuracy and consistency so that it can be used cross functionally for analysis.
  • Provide support with entering all charitable donations, data hygiene, and CRM help desk requests. This includes providing data and reports as needed companywide.
  • Provide basic usage training to new Associates as needed in the CRM.
  • Assist in data analysis for quality improvement purposes.
  • Assist in ensuring data management procedures comply with Council policies and procedures.
  • Assist with sorting and organizing the data to ensure cross departmental analysis occurs.
  • Assists with donor data related projects as well as special campaign related activities.



Meetings, Events, and Travel Support Duties

  • Assist RD Operations Team members with coordinating calendars, agendas, logistics for meetings, guest speakers, expense reports, and credit card statements.
  • Prepare minutes for conference calls/meetings and promptly post/distribute to appropriate individuals.
  • Coordinate special projects and activities under the guidance of the assigned Team member.


Document Management Duties

  • Manage and keep up to date the files and information in the RD Operations folder on SharePoint.


Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or any equivalent combination of relevant work experience and training.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required.
  • Previous database/CRM (StratusLIVE) experience is required.
  • Must be able to perform in a team-oriented environment with strong organizational, written, and communication skills, and maintain attention to detail and effective prioritization to ensure all specifications are met.
  • Proficiency in Adobe products, including Sign, preferred.
  • Must possess problem-solving abilities to drive process improvements, address challenges, and establish efficiencies.
  • Must have the ability to take initiative and provide leadership in executing projects, willingness to receive ongoing coaching and mentoring, and an interest in learning and professional development.


Travel Requirements: Travel may be necessary, up to 10% of the time (local, regional, national, international). Would require travel by air, car, rail.
