We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

Job Summary:

The NTT DATA Project Manager shall be responsible for providing project management and oversight in compliance with the client’s Project Management Office (PMO) processes – including external and internal communications management, project governance artifact management, and technical change control management (e.g. Technical Review Boards (TRB)/Change Control Boards (CCB)). The NTT DATA Project Manager shall provide a weekly written project status report is required that reflects the detailed status of the project. This status report is in addition to the project reporting required under the processes. The NTT DATA Project Manager shall plan, coordinate, and monitor the execution of the migration of the four applications to the new MS Azure (ASE3) environment and the surge support for Microsoft Azure modernization and re-platform work.

 

NTT DATA Project Manager Job Duties Include:

 

  • Manage all migration activities for the 4 applications to be migrated.
  • Create project management artifacts, including the Project Schedule, required to successfully re-platform Microsoft Azure and migrate the 4 applications through and ongoing status reporting.
  • Develop and manage to an approved Project Schedule
  • Coordinate project meetings (at least 1 week in advance) and distribute meeting notes and actions within 1 business day of meetings.
  • Manage cost, scope, and schedule baselines (collectively “Project Baseline”).
  • Define and coordinate change requests to baseline as required, following the PMO review process.
  • Maintain the Risk and Issues Register, including conducting regular reviews through weekly meetings.
  • Maintain the Action Item and Key Decisions Tracker, including following up with owners as necessary.
  • Manage project metrics and identify areas of improvement and implement lessons learned. 
  • Work closely with the Government Program Manager and/or Product/Project Owner to coordinate all project activities.
  • Escalate any extended challenges in scope, cost, schedule, work not complete, or project/agency roadblocks to success.
  • Provide the following reports, utilizing PMO-standard tools:
    • Plan, develop, and present briefings to senior government staff.
    • Requisite financial and project related status reports.
    • Weekly Status / Progress Reports to provide completion status for all activities.
  • Coordinate with the base Fixed Price O&M contract resources.
  • Coordinate communications plans for internal (stakeholders and project team members) and external (customers).

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, to include:
    • Experience working in a hybrid Agile/Waterfall Project Management methodologies.
    • Experience with working in a PMO following tailored PM activities.
    • Experience leading IT Infrastructure related projects.
    • Experience working with integrated project teams that rely on leveraged resources (O&M work plus project work responsibilities.)
  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Physical Science, or other technology.
    • Education equivalency: H.S. Diploma + 4 years additional experience equals Associate’s Degree; Associate’s Degree + 4 years additional experience equals Bachelor’s Degree.
  • USAID Public Trust clearance.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Secret Security Clearance.
  • Active PMP Certification.

 

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is [Min: $77,760 - Max: $180,000]. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
