What you will do

Our medical records paralegals are responsible for obtaining medical records, summarizing medical records for litigation, and retaining expert witnesses. You should feel comfortable conducting records requests, doing data entry, scheduling, maintaining case files, and completing other ad-hoc requests, as needed.


Key Accountabilities

  • Obtaining medical records from multiple providers
  • Completing open records requests
  • Summarizing medical records for attorneys and litigation paralegals
  • Scheduling expert witnesses
  • Invoicing and billing for legal work
  • Customer & client service


Who you are

A detailed person comfortable with a steady pace of high-volume work. Precision and patience are things you love to display. You enjoy collecting and summarizing data.


Must-have qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years' as Litigation Legal Assistant or Paralegal
  • Ability to commute to Duluth office

Nice to have, but not required:

  • Previous insurance defense experience
  • Experience with PracticeMaster software
