The Senior Visual Designer develops and executes creative concepts that align with creative strategy and help to establish and communicate the visual expression of our clients’ brands. They collaborate with multiple teams and mentor other designers. The Senior visual Designer has a keen interest in innovation and collaborates with multiple teams.

Reports to: Creative Director

Responsibilities

• Helps define and drive the vision for all creative content, design and experiences

• Participates in campaign brainstorming and concepting sessions

•Develops relevant and unique concepts that support our business objectives, align with creative strategy and stengthen our clients’ brands

•Creates digital, animated, video and print executions based on targeted objectives

•Is a digital native with a strong understanding of all media, particularly video

•Leads presentation design: internal, client-facing and for new business pitches

•Responsible for campaigns for large national brands, including concepting, execution and revisions, as well as reporting on metrics of campaign success to leadership post-launch

•Assists with CRM project management of creative team



Qualifications

• Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design or Communication Design

• 3-5 years of experience in graphic design

• Strong video creation and editing skills; experience in Premier Pro

• Mastery in a variety of design tools including Adobe Creative Suite and Figma

• Mastery in presentation design

• Demonstrated UX/UI experience, responsive first

• Provide a strong online graphic design portfolio, including examples of websites and full campaigns

• Be adept at visualizing an experience then translating it into specific design systems (videos, ads, brochures, posters, packaging, signs, logos, web pages)

• Must be detailed oriented, with excellent typographical skills

• Produce high-quality, innovative and cohesive deliverables

• Commitment to developing a deep understand of the company’s brand, product and services, mission, value and key differentiators in order to visually convey our message to various audiences

• Follow entire project from concept through production with a sense of true ownership

•Skillfully manage multiple, diverse projects, be responsive to real-time demands and meet deadlines with tight turnarounds

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Have a can-do attitude and willingness to learn

• Follow established processes and procedures, including workflow between teams and external clients

• Excel at working in collaborative environments

• Agency experience preferred; corporate experience considered

• Have file prep experience for both print and digital media; Printing and pre-press/preflighting experience

•Experience in CMS workflow environments
