Job Purpose


As a safety services specialist, you will work as part of a team to create and deliver engaging standards and application-based machinery safety training to be delivered internally and externally to help Fortress be the partner of choice. With your personable, self-motivated style you will improve processes and services to promote Fortress as safety experts.


You will receive training and mentorship as you learn about all areas of the business through this role.



Key Responsibilities


  • Create and deliver engaging standards and application-based webinars, training, and publications about machinery safety.
  • Support the global business teams with machinery safety standards conformance guidance.
  • Follow processes and procedures while suggesting improvements to enhance the customer experience or increase efficiency.
  • Develop knowledge on Fortress’ product ranges, with an understanding of key Fortress applications and how the machinery safety standards impact the use of the products in the applications.
  • Participate in standards committee activities to further the understanding of product uses and technology changes relevant to Fortress and our customers.



Characteristics and Experience Required


  • Education Level Minimum High school level or above
  • Education Level Preferred - Degree in Engineering
  • Experience Preferred - A background in machinery safety.
  • Approachable and personable style
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
