Maintenance Technician:

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician and play a critical role in keeping operations running smoothly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. From preventive maintenance to emergency repairs, you’ll help ensure production stays efficient and meets quality standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Quickly diagnose and repair breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
  • Repair and maintain spare parts, ensuring they’re ready for future use.
  • Participate in daily team meetings to prioritize and plan tasks.
  • Train new technicians, sharing expertise to build a stronger team.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace at the end of each shift.
  • Operate and troubleshoot foreign (European) machinery as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of maintenance experience, ideally within the food manufacturing industry (e.g., Reser’s, Kettle Brand, Baxter’s North America).
  • Proficient in mechanical troubleshooting with knowledge of PLCs and hydraulics.
  • Experience in facilities maintenance such as plumbing, HVAC, or building systems is a plus.
  • Adaptable to working with diverse machinery and solving complex mechanical issues.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.


Not a Good Fit:

  • Candidates with solely residential maintenance experience.


A Good Fit:

  • Individuals with experience in food manufacturing or industrial environments.
