Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at FPI Management, Inc. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in residential property management and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on apartment homes, buildings, and grounds, including repairs to flooring, drywall, appliances, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, painting, and cleaning.
  • Conduct on-call/after-hours responses, providing emergency services as needed.
  • Coordinate unit turnover processes, ensuring vacant apartments are properly inspected and repaired before new residents move in.
  • Repair and maintain equipment owned by the apartment community, including proper storage and inventory management.
  • Participate in inspections to ensure properties meet regulatory standards, such as NSPIRE, MOR, TCAC, CALFHA, and city inspections.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within residential property management or hotel maintenance.
  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate required; technical school and/or CAMT certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, current motor vehicle insurance, and an operable vehicle meeting FPI's Driving Standards and Personal Vehicle Use policy.
  • Ability to wear a respirator and comply with FPI's facial hair policy.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Basic computer skills (email, internet, etc.).
Estimated Salary:

$20-$22 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
