Events Assistant Key Roles:

This integral position supports the special events projects at RGI through both creative and administrative tasks

 

Day to day you will be working directly with project leadership (Event Associates) to move the needle forward on our client's accounts tracking key metrics of success for the client and internal team to keep the project moving forward - this may include tracking timeline and budget, tracking task list, researching and comparing venues, researching and comparing support vendors (catering/entertainment/printing/décor/audio visual services/photographers etc) setting agendas and taking notes for client meetings, preparing reports, attending walkthroughs and rehearsals, supporting event design and mapping, coordinating mailings (such as event invitations) gathering data (such as attendee RSVPs and guestlists) updating records and maintaining organization of each project.

Key Qualifications:

 

Hold an Events, Hospitality, PR or similar field of study BA along with 2 years industry experience (we will consider non-BA holders with demonstrated real world industry experience, and certain internships towards 2 years industry experience)

 

 

MUST have functional mastery of CRM platforms (Monday.com, Asana, FileMaker or similar)

As well as PPT, Xcel, Word, Google Business Tools (Drive, Forms, etc) social media platforms (FB, Twitter, Insta, Pinterest, Tumblr, Vine) - photo editing/enhancing software or apps familiarity is a plus - we are a Mac office

 

You are a self-starter who takes initiative, anticipates client and company needs and solves problems proactively

 

You can juggle and prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities

You are a deadline meeting machine

 

You are OUTSTANDINGLY organized and a passionate perfectionist who never forgets the details

You thrive in a fast-paced, high pressure industry

You meet challenges with a smile, accept critiques gracefully and mesh with a team of women who strive for excellence

You are flexible and able to pivot priorities, think on your feet and problem solve independently

Reliable personal transportation strongly preferred

Must be able to comfortably life 40 lbs and stand for up to 4 hours
