ROLE DESCRIPTION 

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday, in-office role for an Investor Relations Associate located in the Financial District, Manhattan. The candidate will report to the VP/Head of Investor Relations and will work closely with the sales team. The Investor Relations Associate will be responsible for managing investor relationships and assisting with raising capital—which includes preparing marketing materials, client mapping, market research, and client service.  


The role also involves:  

  • Providing ongoing client support, answering a wide variety of questions timely and accurately, with the goal of ensuring overall client satisfaction. 
  • Keeping investors informed about services or strategy developments. 
  • Creating presentation materials and getting involved with capital raise. 
  • Passion to learn about this firm's financial concepts and investment capabilities and then convey these to investors. 


QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor's degree required (Master’s preferred) in finance, economics, business administration, or related field 
  • 2+ years experience in financial services, preferably in private credit or investor relations 
  • Active license in Series 7, Series 63, and Series 66 
  • Certifications such as the CFA or CAIA preferred 
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities 
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Strong understanding of SEC securities disclosure and filing requirements 
  • Strong time management skills 
  • Extensive experience with the Microsoft Suite of products, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
