RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Have an active hand in transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting data to different documents, as assigned.
  • Review and verify correspondence, reports, and legal documents.
  • Draft legal documents including: letters, motions, briefs, table of contents, table of authorities etc...
  • Mange assigned attorney calendar, scheduling various types of events.
  • Enter attorney time entries.
  • Client interaction.
  • Keep note of court appearance dates, pleadings and filing requirements.
  • E-file both via NJ E-courts as well as Federal Pacer.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 8+ years related work experience.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience e-filing in both State (NJ/NY) and Federal courts.
  • Experience with the following: NetDocuments or similar, and SurePoint or similar billing software.
