EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT - TRAVEL INDUSTRY

Boscov's Travel is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support our President in a fast-paced travel industry environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of our operations, combining administrative expertise with a passion for travel. This is an in office position at our Reading (East) location.


About the Role: As Executive Assistant, you'll be the President's right hand, managing a diverse range of tasks that keep our business running smoothly. Your role will go beyond traditional administrative duties. Flexibility is a must as this is a fast paced position and environment


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the President's calendar, including coordinating travel arrangements and scheduling industry events
  • Act as a liaison between the President and key stakeholders in the travel sector
  • Prepare professional communications, including emails, memos, and client proposals
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, including those with international partners and vendors
  • Research and compile information on hotels, resorts, and destinations for group meetings and client presentations
  • Generate reports relevant to our travel business operations
  • Collaborate with President to review PowerPoint presentations for sales calls and consumer events


Ideal Candidate:

  • 3+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry (willing to train the right individual)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and industry partners
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
