Red Cedar is looking for an experienced New Home Sales Agent to join our team.  

As a New Home Sales Real Estate Agent, you will be responsible for representing Red Cedar Homes in selling our Private Homesite Collection (one-off listings). This will entail guiding prospective home buyers through the construction process from contract to closing. Your role will also include actively seeking out and acquiring new listing and buyer clients to expand our market presence. Your primary focus will be on new construction properties and collaborating with other local agents, investors, and our in-house team. In addition to listing Red Cedar Built homes, you will still have the opportunity to work with current and future clients outside of our Red Cedar Homes listings.

 

 

Role Responsibilities:

1. Client Consultation:

 - Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget.

 - Provide expert advice on new home options, neighborhoods, and builders.

2. Property Showings:

 - Schedule and conduct property tours for prospective buyers.

 - Highlight key features and benefits of new home models and communities.

3. Market Knowledge:

 - Stay informed about current market trends, new developments, and inventory.

 - Provide clients with up-to-date information on pricing, promotions, and incentives.

4. Negotiation and Transactions:

 - Assist clients in making offers and negotiating terms with builders and developers.

 - Guide clients through the contract process and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.

5. Relationship Management:

 - Build and maintain relationships with prospective buyers, sellers, agents, and investors.

 - Act as a liaison between clients and construction teams to address any concerns or issues.

6. Marketing and Promotion:

 - Promote new home listings through various marketing channels, including social media, websites, and community events.

 - Develop and implement strategies to attract potential buyers and increase sales.

7. Client Acquisition:

 - Proactively seek and acquire new listing clients to broaden our inventory of re-sale homes along with buyer clients.

 - Network within the community and leverage industry connections to bring in new listings and investors.

 - Develop and execute strategies to attract homeowners looking to list their properties.

8. Customer Service:

 - Provide exceptional customer service throughout the buying process, ensuring client satisfaction.

 - Address any questions or concerns promptly and professionally.

-Guide buyers of our Red Cedar Homes from contract to close. This will entail weekly updates, setting meetings, and overcoming objections.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred. 

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

• Proactive self-starter, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Detail-oriented

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.

•  Proven ability to acquire and manage new listings.

•  Proficient in using real estate software and tools.

•  Social media acumen to promote yourself, Red Cedar Homes, and your listings.

 

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, standard daytime hours; 9 am - 5 pm 

• Occasional weekend work may be required

 

Job Type:

• Full-time position, averaging 40 hours per week

Ability to Commute/Relocate:

Work Environment:

• Office-based environment with a business casual dress code. Standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets, are used in this role.

 

Physical Demands:

• The role requires the ability to talk and hear, stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Occasional lifting of office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds, may be necessary.
