Join Our Team at Lizette Marie Interior Design
Lizette Marie Interior Design (LMID) is currently seeking a passionate and creative Architectural Designer to join our dynamic team full-time. Reporting directly to the Senior Designer, you’ll play a key role in transforming our clients’ luxury lifestyle visions into stunning realities.
Why LMID? At LMID, we’re more than just designers—we’re visionaries. Our mission is to listen deeply to our clients, interpret their unique voices, enhance their visions, and deliver impeccable results that exceed expectations. If you’re someone who thrives in a collaborative, high-energy environment and loves the challenge of creating bespoke, high-end residential and hospitality spaces, then LMID is the place for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate and Create: Work closely with the Senior Designer to develop high-quality designs, drawings, and documentation throughout all phases of our projects. From the initial spark of an idea to the final touches on a finished space, you’ll be involved in every step.
- Innovate and Solve: Bring your creative problem-solving skills to the table as you design and determine the feasibility of construction and custom furniture solutions for our discerning clients.
- Lead and Inspire: Take ownership of Tier 1 projects, both in the studio and on-site, while mentoring junior team members and overseeing Tier 2 projects. Your leadership will help guide the team to success.
- Present and Impress: Articulate design concepts through compelling presentations and detailed sketches. You’ll have the opportunity to present your work to clients, the Principal, and the broader design team.
- Manage and Execute: From initial design to final construction, you’ll oversee all aspects of the project, ensuring it fits within the client’s budget, timeline, and aesthetic expectations. You’ll also be a key player in managing project timelines, quality control, and client relationships.
Who You Are:
- A seasoned professional with 7+ years of experience in high-end residential interior design or architecture, with a strong background in construction.
- A creative thinker who can originate concepts and lead teams to bring them to life.
- An expert in construction documents, with a comprehensive understanding of building codes, permit set development, and execution.
- Proficient in SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and other design tools, with the ability to convey design options visually and manage 3D rendering tools like 3D Max and Kuula.
- A strong communicator who can articulate ideas clearly to clients, builders, architects, and vendors.
- Detail-oriented yet able to see the big picture, with a talent for space planning and problem-solving.
- Adaptable and efficient, capable of juggling multiple projects and staying on top of industry trends.
- A reliable professional with access to a car and a valid driver’s license.
What We Offer:
- The opportunity to work on prestigious, high-profile projects that challenge and inspire you.
- A collaborative, supportive work environment where your creativity is valued.
- Opportunities for growth and development within a leading design firm.
- Competitive salary and benefits package, including ongoing professional development.
If you’re ready to bring your talent to a firm that values creativity, innovation, and excellence, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today and take the next step in your design career with Lizette Marie Interior Design.
