Midland, United States Superlanet Full time

Superlanet is seeking a Clinical Informatics Analyst for our Texas healthcare client. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience with Cerner Clinical Documentation, including build experience in Nursing Documentation, PowerForms, and iView. This role involves managing third-party applications, triaging tickets, and addressing incidents and break/fix issues. The analyst will work closely with clinical teams and IT staff to support workflows, resolve issues, and manage projects. This is a Direct Hire, onsite role, with potential for hybrid work after coordination.

Work Arrangement: Onsite (local or relocation assistance available); potential hybrid option (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) after coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design, and implement clinical workflows within Cerner to optimize user experience and improve outcomes.
  • Manage and integrate third-party applications used alongside Cerner, ensuring seamless interoperability.
  • Handle triage, incident resolution, and break/fix tickets, working to address workflow inefficiencies.
  • Lead and manage projects, ensuring successful delivery from initiation through completion, with a focus on clinical documentation and related workflows.
  • Work on various projects related to EMR upgrades, enhancements, and optimizations, collaborating with clinical and IT teams.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for clinical documentation systems and third-party applications.
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to gather requirements, document system changes, and provide training.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards and healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Act as a liaison between clinical users, IT, and vendors to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Offer support for Cerner system upgrades, testing, and go-lives, ensuring minimal disruption to clinical operations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with Cerner Clinical Documentation, including build experience (PowerForms, iView, nursing documentation).
  • Proven experience in project management, successfully working through projects from start to completion.
  • Experience managing third-party applications and resolving incidents through triage and ticket work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle break/fix scenarios.
  • Familiarity with clinical workflows, healthcare regulations, and patient care processes.
  • Comfortable working independently as a self-starter, with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of working with clinical teams, IT staff, and vendors.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with system integration tools (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and data exchange between EMR and third-party systems.
  • Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP) is a bonus.
  • Ability to balance both incident management and project work simultaneously.
