Provider Credentialed Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Training and Support Specialist to join our team at MyMichigan Health. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for providing training and support to healthcare professionals across our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all provider and medical student training sessions, including independent and locum training, with a focus on personalization and at-the-elbow support for onboarding and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with the Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) and Director of Informatics to develop and implement ongoing training plans, including material development and class instruction.
- Work closely with the Information Technology Department and other departments to ensure optimal utilization of patient-care focused IT products and associated documentation.
- Attend provider meetings to provide updates on Epic features, discuss issues with providers, and provide training updates.
- Assist user groups in meeting user needs through constructive discussion and problem-solving.
- Support Physician Informaticists/CMIO in summarizing identified opportunities for new build and policy revisions related to orders, CCD conversion, clinical workflows, MIPS, and quality.
- Monitor and ensure that policies and procedures related to accuracy, integrity, and security are followed.
- Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in a clinical role within a health system.
- Knowledge of a healthcare system and its workflows.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
- Excellent relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work well with providers in meetings and when planning and conducting training, requiring communication of ideas and concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, excellent organizational skills, outstanding customer service, and the ability to work with people at all levels in the provider's practice as well as the analysts in IT.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
