Quality Improvement Lead

About the role
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will lead investigations into customer complaints and other quality issues. You will coordinate with various departments to implement corrective actions and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders. You will also identify areas of quality losses and potential improvements and lead associated projects.
It is important that you have strong analytical skills, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively to ensure the highest standards of quality across our operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage workload and priorities of the Quality Improvement Project Role
- Provide day-to-day management of Quality Improvement Project Role activities
- Conduct initial investigations on quality issues (KPI)
- Coordinate comprehensive investigations and determine probable causes of quality issues (KPI)
- Lead Root Cause Analysis for significant quality issues
- Coordinate corrective actions with relevant departments to resolve quality issues
- Collaborate with customers to conduct root cause analysis and resolve complaints
- Share trends and issues with relevant departments to drive improvement initiatives
- Execute disposition of product on-hold, including decisions on destruction or rework
- Ensure compliance with external certification bodies and customer requirements; participate in internal audit programs and support audits of our systems.
About you:
- BA Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or similar required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Knowledge of quality standards, certifications, and audit processes preferred
- Ability to lead projects and initiatives using structured problem-solving methodologies
- Commitment to continuous learning and development in quality management practices
