JOB BRIEF

We are currently hiring a “Warehouse Associate” to lead efficient operation of our warehouse. This position involves handling logistics, operating forklifts, and managing the shipping of products and spare parts to customers. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.


JOB DESCRIPTION

Tasks required of those in the position of Warehouse Associate include but are not limited to;

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality,
  • Sort, organize, and store products and spare parts in designated areas,
  • Maintain inventory levels and conduct regular stock counts,
  • Assist in managing the warehouse layout to optimize space and efficiency,
  • Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products and spare parts,
  • Load and unload goods from trucks and containers.
  • Perform routine checks and maintenance on forklifts and report any issues.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare products and spare parts for shipment according to customer orders.
  • Ensure all shipping documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers and manage shipping schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Track and resolve any shipping discrepancies or issues.
  • Communicate with customers regarding order status, delivery times, and any issues.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and warehouse procedures.
  • Use personal protective equipment as required.
  • Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.


KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred,
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks,
  • Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills to coordinate large volumes of goods,
  • The ability to work effectively under limited supervision,
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment,
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English,
  • Strong attention to detail to accurately pick and pack orders,
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction,
  • Forklift and clamp lift operation skills preferred,
  • Previous experience in warehouse environment, including shipping and receiving,
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management and shipping documentation,
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
