Home Bank - Universal Banker I

Purpose of the Position

This role involves performing routine branch operations and building lasting customer relationships through efficient customer service. The Universal Banker I primarily focuses on teller operations, ensuring accurate processing of customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, and loan payments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Handle cash, including counting, verifying, and balancing of the cash drawer
  • Provide prompt and efficient customer service, engaging in conversations to understand customer needs and preferences
  • Contribute to branch success by meeting referral goals and mentoring newly hired team members
  • Maintain a professional workstation and adhere to banking center hours
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in cash handling, sales, and customer service
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
  • Availability to work branch hours, including Saturdays
  • Physical ability to remain stationary, perform transactions, and lift items
