Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in McLean, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and experience working with large datasets, performing data analysis, and creating insightful visualizations. This role requires hands-on experience with tools like Python, Tableau, and SQL. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and provide critical insights that influence business decisions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection & Analysis: Gather, analyze, and interpret complex data sets from multiple sources to identify trends and actionable insights.
  • Visualization & Reporting: Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau and other tools to communicate key metrics and performance indicators to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration & Coordination: Work with business units, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver relevant data-driven insights.
  • Data-Driven Influence: Provide recommendations based on data analysis to help drive informed decision-making processes.
  • Data Integrity & Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, quality, and consistency of data across systems through robust data governance practices.


Required Technical Skills:

  • Python: Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
  • Tableau: Expertise in using Tableau to create interactive visualizations and dashboards.
  • SQL: Experience writing complex queries and extracting data from relational databases.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.


Work Arrangement:

  • Hybrid schedule: Mon & Fri Remote, Tue-Thu Onsite in McLean, VA.
