About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Lead with expertise in ALM & Actimize and the Banking domain to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading QA efforts, ensuring the quality and integrity of Actimize implementations, and coordinating with both onsite and offshore teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead QA Activities:
- Oversee all QA activities related to Actimize implementations, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain test strategies, plans, and cases for Actimize projects.
Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers from offshore, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Coordinate with offshore teams to align QA activities and ensure seamless collaboration.
Test Planning and Execution:
- Develop detailed test plans and cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Execute test cases, document results, and manage defects using appropriate tools and processes.
- Perform regression, integration, and performance testing as required.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with project managers, developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide QA insights.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to report on QA progress, issues, and risks.
Quality Assurance Processes:
- Ensure QA processes are followed and continuously improved.
- Implement and enforce quality standards and practices across the team.
Actimize Expertise:
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of Actimize to ensure the quality and compliance of solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest Actimize features and updates to incorporate into QA practices.
Banking Domain Knowledge:
- Apply thorough understanding of banking operations, compliance, and regulatory requirements to ensure that Actimize implementations meet industry standards.
- Collaborate with banking domain experts to align QA efforts with business needs.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare comprehensive test reports, documentation, and QA metrics to track and communicate the quality status of projects.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on QA activities and project status.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience with Actimize implementations and QA practices. Good experience with AML. Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Proven experience in managing and mentoring QA teams. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:
- Certified ISTQB/CSTE or equivalent certifications
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of financial services and regulatory compliance, specifically in the banking domain.
