Job Title: Vice President, Business Development

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Vice President, Business Development with a focus on Partner Relationship Management to join our team. This position will focus on building and maintaining strategic relationships with industry leading Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS, and Payroll system software providers. You will play a crucial role in forging strategic partnerships and nurturing existing relationships to propel our company forward. This leadership position demands a blend of strategic planning, meticulous execution, and an unwavering commitment to our partners’ success. The ideal candidate will be an expert communicator, a strategic thinker, and a passionate advocate for both our company and our partners.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner Relationship Management:
  • Spearhead the identification and establishment of partnerships with organizations that align with our company’s products, services, and objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for existing and new partners, developing and maintaining robust relationships.
  • Actively engage with partners and clients to grasp their needs comprehensively and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Employ strategies to build and fortify strategic relationships to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Keep precise client records, including documentation and CRM (Pipedrive) updates, tracking contract changes and renewals.
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of our products and services, advocating them effectively to our partners.
  • Work with our in house App Dev Team on Partner Integration and New Feature Priorities.
  • Identify, attend key partners events. 

 

  • Strategic Planning:
  • Collaborate closely with the leadership team to develop and implement a cohesive partner alliance strategy.
  • Establish clear goals, objectives, and KPIs for partner relationships to monitor and drive success.
  • Execute strategic plans to fulfill partnership objectives and stimulate revenue growth.
  • Partner with Marketing and Partner Marketing departments to initiate and manage customer expansion campaigns.

 

  • Partner Recruitment:
  • Identify and vet potential partners that share our mission and values, adding value to our ecosystem.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new partners, making them well-acquainted with our company’s offerings and processes.

 

  • Communication and Reporting:
  • Keep partners and clients informed about new developments, products, and services.
  • Supply partners and clients with the necessary resources, materials, and support to foster their success.
  • Generate and present detailed reports on partnership status, performance metrics, and areas for enhancement.
  • Address high-volume inquiries and requests efficiently, prioritizing partner and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain a proactive stance on account management, delivering exceptional service that exceeds expectations.
  • Facilitate regular internal meetings to review progress and explore avenues for business improvement.
  • Conduct monthly meetings with clients and partners to ensure ongoing engagement and satisfaction.

 

Senior Leadership Tasks:

  • As a key figure in the executive team, contribute to high-level decision-making and strategy formulation.
  • Champion the development and refinement of company policies and strategies that impact partner relations.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Proven experience in partner relationship management, business development, or a similar role within a leadership capacity.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic mindset, with a track record of achieving growth objectives and driving revenue through partnerships.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting data to make informed decisions and drive strategy.
