Job Summary: The Senior Integration Business Analyst will leverage extensive expertise to document systems, gather comprehensive business requirements, and lead complex system integrations across the organization. This role involves close collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless data exchanges and process integrations, supporting high level business requirements. Acting as a strategic partner, the analyst ensures successful outcomes for integration projects involving both internal and external systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Documentation & Advanced Analysis:

• Analyze and document complex legacy and modern systems, along with business processes, to support long-term organizational goals.

• Conduct interviews with senior stakeholders and end users to elicit and define advanced functional requirements for large-scale development and enhancement projects.

• Perform in-depth data analysis to support project needs and develop complex database queries for various integration scenarios.

2. Senior-Level Requirement Gathering & Testing:

• Lead collaboration efforts with cross-functional teams, Judiciary personnel, and business stakeholders to define test strategies and coordinate comprehensive testing efforts.

• Guide and mentor junior business analysts in capturing, refining, and documenting both technical and business requirements.

• Facilitate advanced Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions, aligning functional requirements with high-level business objectives.

• Oversee stakeholder approval of functional requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.

3. Project Leadership & Coordination:

• Play a key role in developing Project Definition documents, outlining initial project scope, cost estimates, and projected returns on investment.

• Track, report, and communicate the status of integration projects, working closely with project managers and IT leadership.

• Ensure effective resource allocation and management, overseeing multiple concurrent projects of varying complexities.

4. Strategic Integration Management:

• Serve as the primary liaison for justice partners, overseeing complex data exchange protocols in response to legislative or business requirements.

• Lead the development and implementation of integration software solutions, ensuring best practices in API development, web services, and system interoperability.

• Provide strategic input on integration patterns and software selection, offering expertise on systems architecture and optimization.

5. Systems Development & Methodology:

• Drive refinement and continuous improvement of system development methodologies, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and evolving business needs.

• Collaborate with IT leadership and development teams to define and maintain high standards for integration development processes, tools, and documentation.

6. Advanced Reporting & Compliance:

• Ensure accurate and detailed reporting of project milestones and progress, utilizing advanced time and activity tracking systems.

• Support compliance with organizational policies and procedures, leading in documentation, tracking, and governance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 5 years in a role focused on systems integration.

• Strong expertise in UML and tools for documenting user and functional requirements at a senior level.

• Extensive experience with NIEM/JIEM data modeling, XML, and SOAP protocols.

• Proficiency in advanced requirements capture and tracking software.

• Senior-level experience with integration patterns, web services, APIs, and related tools and methodologies.

• Proven ability to communicate complex, high-level business requirements to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

• Extensive experience working with and mentoring cross-functional IT teams, including developers and testers.

• Experience with Odyssey Case Management System or similar platforms is a significant advantage.

Preferred Skills:

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with executives, peers, and external stakeholders.

• Strong knowledge of systems development lifecycle (SDLC) principles and methodologies, with experience leading teams through all phases of the SDLC.

• Advanced database knowledge, particularly in logical and relational database design, query development, and optimization.

• Demonstrated leadership in training and conducting software demonstrations for integration solutions.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with deep expertise in systems integration, process analysis, and project leadership.

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work in a hybrid setting, while engaging with departments across the organization.

• Occasional travel may be required for stakeholder meetings, system integrations, and project implementation.
