Network Security EngineerOur client, a leader in their industry, has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join on a direct-hire basis in Cary, NC. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basisSalary: $115,000 – $135,000 plus 10% bonusResponsibilities: • Design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade firewall solutions, including next-gen firewalls, to enforce network security policies. • Deploy security tools in cloud environments, such as CASB, WAFs, and native cloud security services. • Deploy SASE solutions integrating security capabilities for distributed networks. • Implement centralized identity and access management systems following least privilege principles. • Utilize Microsoft Security Suite tools for threat detection and response across environments.Requirements: • 5+ years of experience in network security engineering, with in-depth experience with Palo Alto• Hands-on experience with Zscaler• Cloud-first mindset—on-prem-only experience is a disqualifier.• Passion for Security and willingness to make suggestions and recommendations • Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.Preferred Skills: • Azure Network and cloud security posture management experience. Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate.
