Job Title: IT Contract Specialist

Location: Remote (Candidates must be local to Southeast Michigan or Northwest Ohio for occasional on-site meetings)


Job Summary:

The IT Contract Specialist supports the development, negotiation, renewal, and compliance of IT contracts, ensuring alignment with established policies and standards. Collaborating closely with IT leaders, Legal counsel, and business stakeholders, this role oversees contract execution, performance evaluation, and administration. As a senior team member, the IT Contract Specialist also provides guidance to junior staff on policies and procedures.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage IT contract development, maintenance, and compliance, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
  • Negotiate IT contracts directly with suppliers and ensure alignment with organizational policies and project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain contract standards, including KPIs, SLAs, and other IT-specific provisions.
  • Provide ongoing communication with stakeholders about contractual obligations and compliance.
  • Generate and present metrics reports on IT contractual activities to leadership.
  • Collaborate with Legal counsel to assess and mitigate risks associated with IT contracts.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance IT contracting efficiency.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience:
  • 2-3 years of IT contract experience, including review, negotiation, and compliance.
  • Familiarity with medical and technical acronyms.
  • Preferred Experience:
  • 5+ years of contract management experience.
  • Prior experience handling IT contracts.


Schedule:

  • Start Date: 01/20/2025
  • End Date: 12/27/2025
  • Hours: 40 per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Additional Notes: Remote role, but candidates must be local to Southeast Michigan or Northwest Ohio for occasional on-site meetings.
