We are looking for a sharp, tenacious, and creative Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to help develop AgZen’s sensing and software products. You will own and contribute to developing our software platforms and interact heavily with our world-class engineering team to build technology that can help farmers make agrochemical spraying more efficient.


Note: This position is available to be filled immediately, with the latest start date being November 1st, 2024. This role is located in Somerville, MA (Boston area) with work required to be in-person.


What you will do:

  • Build scalable infrastructure to store, process, and visualize data gathered from field operations
  • Develop customer-facing interfaces on web-based and mobile devices
  • Lead feature development and deployment end to end
  • Develop our CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for our ML ops
  • Collaborate with field engineers on designing, building and maintaining an engaging user interface

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of work experience as a software engineer (with Python, Java, Go experience)
  • Experienced with modern front-end web frameworks (e.g., React, Angular)
  • Experienced working with SQL databases
  • Experience with cloud computing (preferably AWS)
  • Experience working with systems that use perception and ML frameworks is a plus.
  • Adept with Linux/Unix and scripting languages like shell scripting, etc. 
  • Familiarity with web server technologies like Apache
  • Experience with real-time systems is a plus
