Midlevel Debt Finance Associate Attorney

A top-tier, culture-centric international law firm is seeking Associates to join its growing Debt Finance practice in New York (though qualified candidates may be considered for positions in its offices throughout the U.S.).
The firm's leveraged finance team represents a broad spectrum of borrowers, lenders, issuers, equity investors, sponsors, financial advisors and agents in every layer of the capital structure in many of the industry's most dynamic and high-value domestic and cross-border financing transactions and debt restructurings.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have at least two (2) years' experience in all aspects of leveraged finance transactions from due diligence through closing, including substantive experience representing borrowers, lenders, private equity sponsors and/or agents in domestic and cross-border acquisitions, dividend and other recapitalizations, and restructuring and reorganization.
- Possess a stellar academic record
- Be admitted to the New York State Bar (or the jurisdiction in which the office sits)*
This role is ideal for an energetic and ambitious lawyer looking to grow and take on an accelerated leadership role in an industry-leading firm.
Base compensation starting at $260K and based on experience.
*Please note that qualified Canadian and Australian lawyers may be considered for this position provided that you are in good standing to sit the requisite state Bar at the next available window.
