Job Summary: We are seeking a versatile and creative Multimedia Producer to bring complex industry insights and regulatory information to life through engaging video content. The ideal candidate has a background in asset management, financial services, television, or journalism and excels at translating in-depth research into compelling narratives. This role is suited for someone who is comfortable both on-camera and behind the scenes, overseeing the production process while collaborating with various teams to shape content. Experience managing digital channels, especially YouTube, is highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation:
- Develop multimedia content that transforms complex industry data and regulations into accessible, engaging formats.
- Script and plan content that appeals to a broad audience while maintaining industry accuracy and depth.
- Video Production:
- Oversee the entire production process, from concept to final product, ensuring content is visually engaging and professionally produced.
- Coordinate with production teams and vendors as needed for shooting, sound, and post-production enhancements.
- On-Camera & Behind-the-Scenes Expertise:
- Act as an engaging on-screen presenter when needed and confidently direct and support talent from behind the camera.
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure content is relevant, accurate, and impactful.
- Digital Channel Management:
- Curate and manage digital channels, particularly YouTube, focusing on growing audience engagement and optimizing reach.
- Apply SEO best practices, metadata tagging, and platform-specific strategies to maximize content visibility.
- Research & Industry Knowledge:
- Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and financial insights, drawing on research to keep content timely and relevant.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure alignment on message accuracy and market insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Production, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in video production or multimedia, ideally within asset management, financial services, or journalism.
- Some familiarity with video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent) for basic editing tasks, though heavy technical skills are not required.
- Comfortable on camera with a strong presentation style.
- Experience managing content on digital platforms, especially YouTube, and understanding of audience engagement strategies.
- Strong ability to tell stories that simplify complex topics for a wider audience.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of asset management or financial regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with basic graphics for enhancing video content (e.g., adding text overlays).
- Analytical mindset with an interest in tracking video performance and audience metrics.
