Resource Scheduler

Duration: 12-month contract

Location: Portland, OR / Remote only local candidates

Pay Range: $31.41 – $34.63 per hour


The Resource Scheduler will support various regulated compliance inspection and correction projects by creating work orders based on inspection findings. This role involves working with AGOL, QuickBase, Google Maps, Maximo, and Excel to ensure that all work orders are accurate and comprehensive. The position requires a strong understanding of Microsoft Suite applications, database entry, and attention to detail. After training, the role is highly independent and offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the safety and maintenance of utility infrastructure.


Position Responsibilities:

• Assess conditions and violations identified via inspections.

• Create detailed and accurate work orders based on the type of correction work required.

• Utilize AGOL, QuickBase, Google Maps, Maximo, and Excel in daily tasks.

• Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC).

• Research existing violations and utility pole locations.

• Create Forestry/Landscape jobs to mitigate vegetation around utility poles or spans of cable.

• Collaborate with a team of Resource Schedulers and support various compliance projects.

• Maintain a high level of accuracy and quality in all work orders.

• Increase the quantity of work orders once accuracy and quality standards are met.


Position Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications, including Excel, Teams, and Outlook.

• Strong database entry skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Enjoyment of consistent, high-volume work.

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 2 years in a similar role.

• Experience with GIS applications is a plus.

• Ability to learn quickly and work as part of a team.

• No specific utility experience required.
