About the Role: Position Summary: In this key role you will lead the community development team to secure right of entry agreements for multiple dwelling units, single-family private gated communities, and private roads. As the Director of Community Development, you will play a crucial role in adding to our rapidly growing network footprint by leading a high performing community development team and leveraging your relationships with local and national property developers to ensure that IQ Fiber is their internet provider of choice. You will bring with you years of experience and strong partnerships with regional and national property management teams and developers.


Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, lead, coach, and motivate team of Community Development Managers to achieve high performance and professional growth across multiple markets; some travel required.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with local, regional and national property developers.
  • Meet target goals to add serviceable units within private communities across our service area.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, using tactics and messaging that are in line with the IQ Fiber brand.
  • Establish IQ Fiber as the provider/partner of choice for broadband services.
  • Meet or exceed market penetration objectives in each community we serve by bringing together the property, marketing teams and the IQ Fiber marketing and residential sales teams.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive community development strategies that align with IQ Fiber’s goals and sales processes.
  • Identify emerging market trends, community needs, and competitive landscape to guide partnerships.
  • Set clear goals and objectives for the community management team, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.
  • Analyze data to gather insights on desirable property projects.
  • Create and utilize financial models to determine advantageous partnership terms in partnership with the Finance Team.
  • Create and maintain a library of agreements that are aligned to IQ Fiber’s business terms.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of work experience.
  • Proven successful relationships with local, regional and national property developers to include MDU and single-family communities.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills to drive initiatives and effectively manage sales organizations expectations and challenges.
  • Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptionally strong process and project management skills.
  • Understanding of sales and sales process management.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Exceptional multitasking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to clear a driver's license check, background check and drug test.
