LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently looking for a Buyer for our Logistics client located in Franklin, TN. The ideal candidate will have experience in purchasing, vendor communication, negotiating, monitoring inventory levels, and processing purchase orders.


  • Type: Temporary (possible hire if applicable)
  • Compensation: $29-$33 per hour
  • Location: Franklin, TN
  • Hybrid: 3 days On-Site
  • Hours: Monday- Friday 8-5pm

Position Overview:

  • Create & send POs to vendors.
  • Follow up with vendors and confirm PO prices within 24 hrs.
  • Create and monitor new inventory items/levels as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and source new suppliers as needed.
  • Running and cleaning up Open PO reports.
  • Day to day PO placement and management of deliveries, including weekly calls and daily communication with suppliers.
  • Support stock discrepancies analysis and drive correct actions to improve the process.
  • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate processes for material delivery on time.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, assess financial risk, and evaluate quality of goods.


Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics, Great Plains, or Salesforce
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Understanding of Logistics & Supply Chain.
  • Bachelor Degree preferred.
