Job: Medical Lab Scientist I

Duration – 181 days assignment months (Temp to perm ----- We are looking for temp staff to convert to permanent)

Location: Austin TX

Schedule: Schedule: 4 x 10 9PM- 7:30 AM OR 11pm-7:30am M-F ROTATING WEEKEND

OCCASIONAL


Note:

  • Vaccine requirement: Flu and COVID
  • Clinical Lab Scientist or MLT or MT [HM is also open to MLT with relevant experience.]
  • Blood Bank experience is preferred
  • Generalist experience is required
  • ASCP or AMT preferred but NOT required


  • 1pm-7:30am M-F ROTATING WEEKEND OCCASIONAL – ASCP Required
  • 4 x 10 9PM- 7:30 AM – ASCP preferred, not required.

U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, or individuals with an Employment Authorization Document (EAD) are eligible to apply for this position


Job duties:

1 – Is this for and Medical Lab Technician [2 year MLT degree ] or Medical Lab Scientist / Medical

Technologist [4 year BS] or are you open to either? OPEN TO BOTH

2- Please confirm if ASCP or AMT certification is required. [If required, are you open to eligible

/registered candidates?] PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

3- Are you seeking a generalist [proficient in testing in all Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis,

Coagulation] or are you seeking a Micro Lab worker with Molecular background?

GENERALIST

4- What department will this technical position support? [Micro lab, Core lab, DNA sequence, etc.]

CORE LAB

5- Is Blood Bank experience required for this role? PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

6- Any particular LIS [Lab Information System] experience you would like to see on resumes?

[Millennium, Cerner, Epic etc.]

7- Please confirm if color vision screening is required? YES IT IS REQUIRED.
