Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Warehouse and Facilities Manager to oversee the operations of our warehouse, and ensure the efficient management of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and managing facility maintenance to create a functional and safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of workspaces with input from respective department managers
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers (HVAC technicians, garage door technicians, locksmith) for building repairs, equipment servicing, and utility management
  • Collaborate with drivers and other team members to ensure that the truck and other company vehicles are properly maintained, and that insurance, vehicle registrations, and inspections are up-to-date
  • Serve as a partner for the scenic shop, with an ability to understand what is and is not compliant 
  • Oversee pack/unpack of truck, ensuring that everything is complete going in/out
  • Schedule and manage any necessary freelance labor
  • Ensure the facility is well-maintained, safe, and compliant with relevant regulations
  • Monitor and optimize storage capacity and warehouse layout
  • Own the management of all inventory, in regards to both on and off-site events
  • Perform quarterly inventory assessment and reconciliation 
  • Coordinate with internal and external event teams to ensure client satisfaction


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in warehouse management
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm (and kind) under pressure
  • Flexibility to occasionally work non-standard hours, including nights and weekends
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to treat our space like it’s your own
  • Practical and direct, type that gets the job done 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with project management software like Monday.com
  • Familiarity with AV/Lighting equipment 

Physical Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 75lbs) as needed
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment, including standing for long periods and exposure to varying temperatures
