Senior Interior Designer

Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Interior Designer to lead interiordesign projects, from conceptual development through to execution. The idealcandidate is a visionary with excellent design skills, strong leadership abilities, and thecapability to manage multiple high-end residential projects. You will work closely withclients, collaborate with project teams, and ensure that designs meet both aesthetic andfunctional goals. Our culture is Integrity, communication, collaboration and responsibility.We are looking for someone who wants to learn and grow their skills, who is not afraidof going outside of their comfort zone to accomplish growth.Key Responsibilities: Project Management:o Lead and manage interior design projects, ensuring they meet clientexpectations, timelines, and budgets.o Oversee all phases of design, including concept development, spaceplanning, material selection, and installation.o Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other vendors to ensuresuccessful project execution.o Review construction documentation and ensure design intent is carriedthrough. Design Development:o Develop creative and innovative design concepts that align with clientneeds and project objectives.o Create detailed design presentations, including mood boards, colorschemes, and material selections.o Prepare floor plans, elevations, and 3D visualizations with the teamo Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and products to introducefresh ideas and cutting-edge solutions. Client Engagement:o Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clearcommunication throughout the project lifecycle.o Conduct site visits and meetings with clients to discuss design options,progress, and feedback.o Present design concepts and solutions to clients, effectivelycommunicating design rationale. Team Leadership & Collaboration:o Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, ensuring design qualityand consistency across projects.o Foster a collaborative work environment, coordinating with internal designteamso Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide feedback to ensure teamproductivity.o Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensureseamless project delivery.o Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors. Sourcehigh-quality materials and negotiate pricing to meet project goals. Budgeting; Cost Management:o Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation formaterials, furnishings, and labor.Qualifications & Skills: Education:o Bachelors or Masters degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a relatedfield. Experience:o Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in interior designo Proven experience leading projects from concept through completion. Technical Skills:o Knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting design.o Space planningo Experience with wallpaper, tile and plumbing selectionso Experience designing kitchens and bathrooms Key Competencies:o High level of responsibilityo Experience collaborating with general contractors, builders and vendorso Team playero Strong collaboration skillso Excellent project management and organizational skills.o Strong communication and presentation abilities.o Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.o Creative problem-solving and attention to detail.o Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a teamenvironment.Work Environment; Conditions: Flex work from home, with scheduled team meetings, site visits and clientmeetings. Vehicle is requiredCompensation & Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Opportunities for professional development and continuing education.
