Senior Interior Designer – Business of Home Company: Bruce Fox Design – full-service interior design firm based in Chicago, specializing in luxury residential spaces. Location: Chicago, IL Employment type: Full-time Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 Position Overview Responsible for the management and execution of multiple simultaneous high‑end interior design projects under the guidance of the design firm owner. Provide supervision and training for junior designers, design assistants, and interns. Oversee all design‑project related tasks, including drafting, presentations, sourcing, placing orders, client and vendor communication, and direct support for project execution and troubleshooting. Responsibilities Manage and execute multiple high‑end interior design projects concurrently. Supervise and train junior designers, assistants, and interns. Create computer and manual drafts; prepare presentations when requested. Source and place orders, manage vendor selection and vendor communication. Coordinate with contractors and clients to ensure timely project delivery. Provide direct support for design project execution and troubleshoot issues. Demonstrate creative, flexible, and resilient teamwork. Qualifications Accredited degree in interior design or related discipline. At least 5 years of high‑end luxury residential interior design experience. Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and initiative skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize multiple simultaneous project elements, and meet deadlines. Proficient with AutoCAD, Photoshop, rendering software, Studio Designer, Word, and Excel.
