AVP of DevOps

We are currently seeking an AVP of DevOps to join our team in our Portland, ME, Chattanooga, TN, Columbia, SC, or Atlanta, GA campus. This position offers a 50% remote work arrangement. If you're looking for a new and exciting opportunity, we encourage you to submit your application today
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the successful implementation of DevOps, CI/CD, quality assurance, test automation, and GenAI platforms, ensuring compliance and governance
- Mentor principal and senior employees within the domain to foster best practices in architecture and skills development
- Manage domain-specific architects as needed, aligning with technology and business strategy
- Partner with Product Owners and Business Consultants to integrate digital maturity and DevOps strategies
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in Azure, GitHub DevOps, and CI/CD platforms, with preferred knowledge of Octopus Deploy, SonarQube, Veracode, and Test Automation tools
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot or similar AI-driven coding tools
- Deep understanding of the systems development lifecycle, IT infrastructure, and software development methodologies
- Solid grasp of risk assessment, change management, and configuration management practices
- Ability to communicate architectural concepts to both technical and business audiences persuasively
- Knowledge of Agile/Lean development methodologies and continuous deployment practices to support enterprise architecture
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Master's preferred or equivalent relevant experience
