Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchaser Buyer to join our procurement team. As a Purchaser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient procurement of materials and supplies necessary for our manufacturing processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-driven individual who is eager to learn and grow in the field of procurement within a dynamic manufacturing company.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the procurement of raw materials, components, and supplies according to production needs and inventory requirements.
  • Collaborate with senior purchasers and department heads to understand purchasing needs and priorities.
  • Research potential suppliers, obtain quotes, and negotiate terms and pricing to secure the best deals.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and lead times.
  • Monitor and track deliveries to ensure on-time receipt of materials and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Assist in vendor performance evaluations to ensure quality and reliability of supplies.
  • Assist in inventory management and control to optimize stock levels.
  • Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and changes in supplier pricing.
  • Contribute to cost reduction initiatives and process improvements within the procurement department.


Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable supply chain or supply chain adjacent experience, no less than a 2 years.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and Google equivalents).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach to work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Previous experience in procurement or supply chain is a plus but not required.
