Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stockroom Clerk to join our team at Coast Personnel. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort and organize materials for specific job requirements
  • Return materials to stock locations after completion of jobs
  • Supply materials for all jobs as assigned
  • Accurately read and interpret specifications
  • Inspect materials for defects and damage
  • Obtain cycle counts and record data on manual or computerized systems
  • Collaborate with buyers and purchasers to ensure timely receipt of materials
  • Inform management of non-conforming materials, products, and shortages
  • Inspect and measure items for conformance to specifications
  • Approve or reject items and record inspection and disposition information

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 0-1 year related experience
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Excellent communication and computer skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent punctuality and attendance required

Work Environment:

This role is performed in a warehouse environment with moving PITs. Required to stand, walk, sit, and use stair ladders; talk and hear in person; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch. May need to exert up to 50 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, and pull or otherwise move objects.
