Role Overview

  • Create and collaborate in the 1st thru production Tech Pack development (this includes measurements, technical trim details, and construction sketches,).
  • Track, and follow up on fit samples. Send the required number of technical packages and fit comments promptly to support on-time production.

· Conduct daily fittings to approve all fit samples while adhering to the production calendar.

  • Maintain fit consistency globally. Have a clear understanding of denim stretchability and how measurements are developed.
  • Write technical comments and provide complete and coherent measurements, POMs, sketches, trim, and label placements for tech pack development.
  • Grading for bottoms domestic and import tech packs.
  • Collaborate with the designers and cross-functional partners to ensure the desired product is achieved while maintaining the production timeline.
  • Evaluate tech packs during handoff and communicate any issues to design and PD for speedy resolution.
  • Daily communication with factories regarding fit, construction, pattern development, and QA issues.
  • Evaluate factory patterns and determine the needed corrections.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years as a denim technical designer (patternmaking is a plus)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Complete proficiency in Word, Excel, Photoshop, Illustrator, Outlook, and PLM (Gerber or Full Circle is a plus)
