CTE Logistics is looking for an experienced Domestic Transportation Client Services Representative within our Freight Management Team, a dynamic individual that takes pride in their job. Hours: This is a Full-Time position working 40 hours per week. Hours may vary between 7am to 5pm with occasional overtime.


Summary of Position: Maintain exceptional customer service levels to clients, co-workers, and vendors. Assist with answering phone calls, forwarding to the appropriate personnel, or taking a detailed message. Support transportation, warehouse, admin, and sales on all tracking, Bills of Lading, or any other applicable documentation or tasks as required. Assuring proper on-time updates of shipment status to clients and internally. Service client accounts accordingly and ensure proper practices are followed. Provide a positive work environment for all team CTE. Interacting with client representatives and CTE Logistics’ team in a client focused fashion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high quality client service, professional communications, and interaction with clients, Team CTE, and vendors.
  • Trace and track each shipment daily and report accordingly.
  • Monitor office supplies to ensure proper and ongoing operations.
  • First or Second ring telephone and front desk reception and appropriate routing of incoming calls.
  • Supports and actively complies with the needs of Brokerage, Warehouse, Admin, and Sales departments to help facilitate any or all related functions.
  • Work with clients, carriers, and superiors to ensure all daily client needs are met including, not limited to shipment quoting, routing, booking and tracking, documentation, and data entry. Communicate any updates as needed.
  • Communicate with carriers to ensure all pickups and deliveries are made on schedule by tracking all shipments in transit each day. Report and communicate as necessary.
  • Provide immediate follow-up to all client requests.
  • Provide support to sales, operations, warehouse, accounting as needed.
  • Perform special projects for customers or internal team members.
  • Protect company and Client information and reputation by ensuring that all proprietary information such as rates, customer information, credit, financial or company information remains private and confidential.
  • Creates reports or presentations as directed.
  • Data entry as required for any or all above tasks.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ Years Related Transportation industry experience (LTL/FTL/Brokerage) preferred.
  • Experience with Transportation Management Systems preferred.
  • Must be computer literate with: MS Office, Word/Excel/Outlook and type/10 key at least 45 wpm general level user skill levels in word, excel.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple deadlines and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Ability to learn new tasks as needs arise and retain information.
  • Sufficient skill and capacity to work independently of direct supervision.
  • Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced deadline-oriented work environment.
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are a must.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English in variety of manners, both written and verbally.


Salary Range: $25.00 – 30.00 per hour DOE
