Job Title: AWS Connect Engineer - W2 only-We can provide sponsorshipDuration: Long TermLocation: Westlake, TX/Merrimack, NH - Hybrid - 2 Weeks in a month onsiteTop Skills/Responsibilities:They are going to be looking for someone to help out with a backlog of work AWS Connect on their Contact Center Platform.So that's really going to be the top skill/need.Someone with ability/skills to configure Amazon Connect,someone who is a Systems Engineer at their core, not a Devops person.If they have a background in Programming that's great, but if not and they are strong in Amazon Connect,have good general skills in AWS that will get the job done.The Expertise You HaveBachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent8+ years hands-on experience as a systems engineerDemonstrated experience as an engineer responsible for designing, developing, testing, supporting, and solving the Contact Center and telephony productsHands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Amazon ConnectDesign and implement cloud-based integrations leveraging AWS services such as Lambda (using Node.js or Python), DynamoDB, CloudFormation, and othersHands-on experience with Jenkins, including authoring and maintaining declarative CI/CD pipelines and librariesProficient in troubleshooting and resolving complex application issues using CloudWatch and other monitoring toolsProvide documentation, knowledge transfer, and architectural guidance to internal teamsWork cross-functionally with internal teams (cloud, security, telephony, support) as neededExperience with version control and CI/CD for deploymentsProficient in troubleshooting and resolving complex application issuesUnderstanding of enterprise-scale platform architecture to which includes considerations for high availability and business continuity.Expertise with Agile (Scrum, Kanban) delivery and software design, development, test and operational automationProven ability to work independently and professionally in high pressure/visibility situations within tight timeframesSelf-starter, curious, collaborative, innovative, eager to learn and guide others every day
