Payroll Specialist

We are an established and growing Triad payroll outsourcing firm that provides comprehensive payroll services for companies that value flexibility, affordability and responsiveness.

We are seeking an experienced and professional Payroll Specialist who will provide superior client support with general payroll information in addition to our customized payroll system and web-based products. The candidate must be knowledgeable in all areas of payroll to include preparing and importing computer input information, reviewing wages to ensure accuracy of payroll and recording changes. The candidate must also be willing to work within a team oriented and high-volume payroll processing environment. This position requires heavy problem solving and decision-making governed by procedures, guided by policies and focused on daily operations. Punctuality, accountability, dependability and confidentiality all are a must to be able to thrive in this position.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills

· Payroll experience

· Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word experience

· Basic knowledge of 125 plans and retirement plans

· Excellent ten-key skills

· Work on complex assignments

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to make effective and timely decisions

· Be a proactive problem solver

· Maintain Confidentiality

· High School Education (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required if experience is sufficient)
