Job Title: Attorney (Commercial Real Estate Lending)

Salary: $200K - $250K

Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY


Our client's commercial Real Estate Lending team seeks attorney to assist in all components of sophisticated commercial real estate and private equity financing for highly diversified real estate clients with a focus on commercial lender representation.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of commercial real estate lending transactions independently, from inception to closing, for Real Estate lenders.
  • Draft and review commercial Real Estate loan documents. Experience with mezzanine, construction, balance sheet, and bridge loans.
  • Review commitment letters, term sheets, fee letters, credit agreements and ancillary loan documents.
  • Review title reports, real estate surveys, and oversee title clearance.
  • Review entity organizational documents and other required due diligence.
  • Handling lending and debt finance related to property acquisition leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, refinancing, and other transactions.
  • Creation of real estate joint ventures and complex acquisition, disposition, and leasing transactions
  • Oversee Real estate secured finance transactions, workouts, and restructurings


Requirements:

  • 6-10+ years commercial real estate and commercial lender representation experience.
  • Excellent time management skills to oversee a volume of transactions.
  • High level of independence and multitasking capabilities.
  • Analytical
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritizing skills.
  • Effective communication and written skills for client contact.
