Are you a Senior Hardware Engineer looking to join a rapidly growing company, building state-of-the-art communication systems, where you will be one of the go-to engineers for the hardware division?

My client is a rapidly growing and well-backed NewSpace sector company, developing new state-of-the-art communication systems for space and airborne platforms.


This position would suit a Senior Hardware Engineer with a strong background in space or defense electronics, looking for a leading role.


The Role:

*Own end-to-end design of electronics modules, from concept and architecture through schematic, layout, test, and production.

*Develop hardware architecture and write hardware requirements for electronics modules.

*Perform detailed schematic design for complex boards, ranging from key components to supporting passives.

*Conduct detailed PCB layout in Altium Designer for complex boards

*Release modules to production, collaborating with the Manufacturing and Test Engineering teams.


The Person:

*Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.

*Experience in board-level electronics design, analysis, and testing.

*Direct experience designing high-reliability electronics for space or defense applications.

* Experience owning the design phase of circuits or boards, including trade studies, key part selection, and detailed design.

*Experience performing complex PCB layouts, such as high-density interconnect (HDI) and high

*Strong lab experience in bringing up and verifying new hardware.
