Responsibilities:

  • Accurately complete and review provider applications, ensuring all information is correct and thorough. Contact providers for missing details, and coordinate with government agencies and managed care organizations to track status and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Assist physicians in completing their applications and ensure the timely submission of reappointments and re-credentials. Verify that all licenses are current and maintain organized internal files with updated credentials.
  • Regularly communicate with Administration, Billing Department, and Office Managers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain and update the database for accuracy.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in credentialing.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
  • Strong ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
