As part of EFOR's development in North America, we seeking a Project Engineer in Construction and Equipment Management
ON SITE (Boston, MA Area)
CONTRACT role (W2 with EFOR Group with full benefits)
End client: top 10 global pharma/biotech group
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Construction Impairment Oversight:
- Support the assessment and management of construction impairment requests, reviewing their impacts and execution plans to minimize operational disruptions.
Site Impact & Impairment Scheduling:
- Collaborate with area managers to schedule disruptive construction or impairment activities, ensuring minimal impact on daily operations.
- Develop and present small-scale execution plans that highlight business impacts, timelines, and required approvals.
- Communicate and adjust execution plans as necessary.
Field Coordination & Supervision:
- Assist in overseeing on-site impairment work, ensuring activities align with plans and proceed with minimal disruption.
Project Communication:
- Draft and distribute notifications to inform staff about project-related disruptions.
- Participate in Project Coordination Activity meetings to stay aligned with broader project goals and timelines.
Asset & Induction Coordination:
- Facilitate asset requests (AREQs and CREQs) and manage the induction of new assets into the project.
Equipment Management:
- Help oversee the procurement, storage, and transportation of equipment, coordinating with relevant teams for delivery, installation, and setup, including utility and data connections.
Certification Coordination:
- Assist in organizing HEPA and room certifications to ensure compliance with project standards.
Calibration Coordination:
- Schedule and oversee project calibration requests to prepare equipment for operational readiness.
Equipment Readiness Monitoring:
- Manage and update the Equipment Readiness Tracker to track progress on pre-CQV (Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation) activities.
Punch List Management:
- Assist in resolving equipment-related punch list items, ensuring timely issue resolution.
ABOUT YOU
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering
- 2 to 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry (Mandatory)
- Previous experience in project management, construction management and equipment management
- Basic understanding of equipment procurement, installation and certification processes
- Ability to coordinate field operations and ensure minimal disruption during project execution.
- Strong communication skills
