Manufacturing Facility Manager

Job Summary:
The Facility Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of the manufacturing facility. This role ensures that the facility is operating efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all regulations. The Facility Supervisor will coordinate with various departments to ensure the smooth running of manufacturing processes and the proper maintenance of equipment and infrastructure.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 6am - 3pm - Come November schedule will shift to Monday - Thursday 5:45AM - 4:45PM
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of the facility, including plumbing, electrical systems, powered equipment, and other infrastructure.
- Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections.
- Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.
- Ensures that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.
- Opening of the facility.
- Responsible for supplier pick-ups/drop-offs
- Supervise a team of maintenance and janitorial staff, providing direction and support as needed. Including conducting performance reviews and provide training for team members.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards, including OSHA guidelines.
- Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure that facility needs are met and that there is minimal disruption to manufacturing processes.
- Ensure that all work performed by external parties meets the company’s standards and specifications.
- Plan, coordinate and oversee facility improvement projects and modifications, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Facility Management or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facility management, maintenance supervision, or a related role in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the facility for extended periods.
- May be required to lift up to 50lbs periodically
