Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and inspect material deliveries, ensuring accuracy and proper storage.
  • Manage weekly inventory based on project requirements and usage, ordering materials as needed.
  • Maintain and clean two laydown yards and the company warehouse, ensuring safety and organization.
  • Perform light maintenance on vehicles and equipment as needed.
  • Facilitate the needs of construction crews, including providing vehicles, water, and other supplies.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for repairs and material orders.
  • Manage equipment and tool inventory, including regular checks for repairs and readiness.
  • Assist with loading and unloading vehicles and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices in the yard and warehouse.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in construction or related industries.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicles and equipment.
  • Knowledge with Ditchwitch equipment, such as Trenchers, Vacs, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive and team-oriented, with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, loaders, and other yard equipment (certification a plus).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in outdoor conditions.
Salary:

$50,000 - $70,000
