We are looking for a dynamic Occupational Therapist to join our Clinical Team of Professionals

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for ensuring quality total patient care through assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluation of patient needs through therapy care plans for each assigned patient; responsible for the effectiveness of measures implemented, under the direction of the physician, to resolve active problems of the patient and to provide stronger self-care techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivers Occupational Therapy services in accordance with approved plan of treatment and plan of care
  • Participates in the agency’s quality assurance review and evaluations of occupational therapy services
  • Provides or participates in staff training programs
  • Plans for discharge

Qualifications:

  • Must be an Occupational Therapist licensed in the state(s) of operation, required
  • Must be a graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum jointly accredited by the Committee on Allied Health

Education and the American Medical Association, required

  • Must possess sound knowledge of therapy principles, procedures, and standards of practice as determined by state and federal regulations, required
  • A minimum of two years’ appropriate experience as an occupational therapist, required
  • Experience in community or home health preferred
